7/10/08 – The Knitting Factory – New York, NY

Exactly a month to the day that we played the Knitting Factory’s Tap Bar, we moved on up to the Main Space, which, if you were to think of the Knitting Factory complex as being like Guitar Hero, is like moving from medium to expert. (Even though I’m a guitar player – or maybe because I’m a guitar player – I’m not too familiar with that game. So was that an apt analogy?) Speaking of expert – what a great show, with Retro Ignite, Lion of Ido, and The Crash Moderns all playing great sets. What made the night even better was that the vibe backstage was really friendly and supportive – thanks to all of the other bands for that. And special thanks to the (shall I say boisterous? yes, I shall) – boisterous crowd. It was a great feeling playing in a room filled with that much energy.

We’ll be coming back to NYC after we get back from our upcoming summer tour, so stay tuned…

SET LIST: The Future / Victory Kiss / The Girl on Top (Of the Piano) / Video Killed the Radio Star / Teh Concept… / You Might Say (No Transformation Here) / All Kinds of Love / Choices / Are You Here / Borrowed Time / Encore: Take on Me
