4/5/08 – Vienna, VA
After what had to be the shortest drive in tour history, we arrived at Jammin’ Java in Vienna, VA on Saturday afternoon. This is one of our favorite venues in the DC area, and we’re not alone – it’s normally ranks among the area’s most popular in those yearly “Best of” polls.
This show was put on by the good people at DC SOAR (which stands for Society of Art Rockers) – thanks to Tom and everyone else with SOAR for giving us such a warm welcome. Of course, many thanks to everyone who braved the beltway or the Metro to come out to the show. Coming from New Jersey as we do, we’re always really impressed and touched when people come up to us after a show and tell us they commuted over an hour to get to a gig. In New Jersey, everything is a half-hour away. Even if it’s down the block.

SET LIST: The Connection / Lightning Twice / (I Don’t Want to) Grow Up / The Concept… / You Might Say / Victory Kiss / Enemy / The Future / If You Were a Word / Choices / You Can’t Get There / Are You Here / Borrowed Time
SPIRALING FUN FACT: The main difference between Vienna, VA and Vienna, Austria – the one in Virginia has a Chipotle.

The main difference between NJ and VA: Everything takes an hour in VA, even if it’s down the block.
PS: Glad you had fun at BOOva.
Go Hokies!
